Wendy Vera Muir

Wendy has practised and taught Vinyasa Flow Yoga for 10 years following a successful career as a ballerina and contemporary dance teacher. Her deep body anatomy knowledge, combined with her dance discipline and Yoga teacher training, make her classes some of the most popular in town. She works closely with her partner at YOGAWORX, Mal, and their beginner's teacher, Rhyanna, to provide a solid, knowledgeable basis for new people to develop their personal practices, without fear or injury, enabling them to safely embark on their journey to physical freedom. Wendy believes that the old fitness mentality is over, that we are past ripping ourselves to shreds in the gym just to look good! Yoga is about working hard sensitively. It's about FEELING good, not just looking good! The tone and pleasing aesthetics you attain from this stuff is a by-product. Her focus is BALANCE and HEALING.

Rhyanna Van Leeuwarden

Rhyanna fell in love with yoga whilst living in Thailand, as her self practice grew so to did her desire to share all that yoga could be! Rhyanna brings passion to her classes taking individual care with each student and nuturing the individuals practice. She recently moved to Perth and is continuing with her own journey through her mentor Sam Weinstein whilst teaching at Yogaworx and Home of yoga both in Mosman Park.
