Perth 2011 Sailing World Championships Radio: Sail 88 FM
Sail 88FM made a successful debut during last November's test event as sailors from around the world fought out the final Perth International Regatta placings on the inshore waters of Fremantle’s Bathers Bay.
The Perth2011 radio station is now broadcasting music and sailing news and views around the clock in the lead up to the ISAF Sailing World Championships in Perth this December.
Live commentaries will be resumed during the Championships. The crowds watching the racing from South Mole and the Bathers Bay foreshores will be able to follow every move as the Olympic class yachts start and finish their final Medal races close to shore.
In the boat parks, Sail 88 FM will keep sailors ashore updated on all the latest competition information
For the moment, if you are in Fremantle, you can tune in for easy listening music and news and views from the world of Olympic sailing.
