WA 2011 Pty Ltd, the group responsible for delivering the highly successful Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships staged in Perth in December last year, held a function on Thursday March 1st involving the seven partner yacht clubs of the World Championships.

Perth 2011 ISAF Worlds ends in gold and fireworks
The very best of grandstand sailing was on display as the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships wrapped up in perfect conditions, with spectators taking every available seat and space around Bathers Bay to watch as the final four world titles were decided in the women’s 470, 49er, men’s RS:X and Laser classes.

Slingsby magic turns all to gold....
Sensational Australian Tom Slingsby sailed to his fourth world Laser crown on Sunday (18 December), cruising home comfortably to win the Medal race for a 19-point victory at the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships.
