ISAF Appoints Sunset+Vine|APP as Host Broadcaster For Perth 2011
Sunset+Vine|APP will be responsible for producing and distributing the coverage of the Championships which will take place in Fremantle, Western Australia from 3 to 18 December 2011.
World Championship titles for the 10 Olympic sailing events will be contested and more than 1400 sailors are expected to compete.
The Perth 2011 ISAF Worlds are the principal qualification regatta for the London 2012 Olympic Games Sailing Competition where 75 per cent of the national places will be decided.
Andrew Preece, Executive Director of Sunset+Vine|APP, commented: "We have been involved in the televising of Olympic sailing since Atlanta in 1996 and since that time have built experience, knowledge, equipment and techniques for the coverage of Olympic sailing that we are really excited about applying to the Perth event which will be the major precursor to London 2012."
