Kids Corner
For the Worlds Festival Kids will enter a world of colour and materials, creating life-sized mermaids, designing pillars of colour to stay in the village a 'totem poles' and many more activities, based on the Festival theme of "Where land meets the sea". The Kids Corner will be open every day, longer at weekends, and kids, young and old can get involved, and get creating!
Paula Hart
In-demand Children's Artist, Paula Hart, is designing a host of activities for the Worlds Festival Kids Corner. Paula is a well known WA artist involved with Festivals, community projects, arts education and public art commissions. She works in a variety of media from junk assemblages and papier-mâché through to digital photomontage and metal sculpture. Large, colourful, joyous works and community participation have been the common thread throughout her work.
