The Australian Government’s support for the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships will promote the sport of sailing to the community and provide the opportunity to encourage all Australians to be more healthy and active.
With the Championships doubling as a qualifying Event for the 2012 London Olympic Games Sailing Competition, Australia will be in the international spotlight. The successful staging of the Championships will enhance our reputation as a world-class host of major sporting events and will showcase Australia as an attractive destination for international travellers.
