ALEXANDER JONES

Alex Jones has to financially support himself to be able to sail internationally. In Bermuda he trains alone. He spends about 20 hours a week on the water and another five hours off water with an intensive strengthening programme. His sporting motto is “performance is how to keep score. The enjoyment lies in the path, the game.” He has also competed in elite sport in triathlons and in 2001 won a Best New Triathlete award. His ambitions in life include participating at an Olympic Games, to learn to fly and to “take his sport to the limit”!
