Richard Palfreyman Communications & Public Relations Manager
Richard Palfreyman joined Perth2011 with 15 years media event experience, starting with the role of Press Chief at the Sydney Olympic Games and over the past decade as a consultant to the International Olympic Committee(IOC). He has worked with Olympic organising committees for the Athens and Beijing Olympic Games and the Torino and Vancouver Winter Games. Richard is a former ABC reporter and overseas correspondent, whose 30 year career in journalism began with a cadetship with the ABC newsroom in Perth. He has an MA (Communications and Technology Policy) degree from Macquarie University Sydney.
